Marios did this portrait of Reem and her grandfather, Khaled Nabhan, after he learned of her passing in November 2023 due to the brutal bombardement by Israel in Gaza. Update: Khaled Nabhan was killed in Gaza in December 2024.

We will donate half of earnings from the sale of this painting to help the palestinian population in Gaza.

For a long time Marios has wanted to paint a piece of art with a deeper meaning and connection to the people of Palestine.

Since Marios was a teenager he has been following the atrocious injustices committed by the occupation in Palestine.

Marios grew up in a dictatorship in Greece and had many friends from Palestine and Lebanon that had to flee from the wars in the middle east.

That’s why he will donate half of the earnings from this painting to the Palestinian people who is in desperate need right now. We also offer a poster version where we will donate the profits to the same cause.
