The 126 meter long and 19 meter wide building in the Dutch Renaissance – Børsen – was for Christian IV (1577-1648) built in the years 1619-1625 on a narrow dam by the two brothers, the builders Lorenz Steenwinckel (1585 – earliest 1619) and Hans Steenwinckel den Yngre (1587-1639).
