Marios lived in The Bay Area when he was in California. He would often take the train and cross Bay Bridge so he could see The Golden Gate Bridge.

Here you can see the Golden Gate Bridge from another view though, as the sun is setting creating bright reds and yellows that inspired him to paint this beautiful piece of artwork.
