Speed-painting! 🎨

This was actually made over 3 days in total 🤭

First day getting canvas ready and grounded, second day the structures came alive with color and the third day touch-ups and details were applied.

And guess what - every layer had to dry in between as well 🥴

Marios isn`t done with this painting yet, but wow! it already looks beautiful! 😍

Not many people know this… but before this became Christiania Art Gallery, it was Marios Orozco’s music studio 🎸🎨

Back in the day, the walls were shaking from deep hip-hop beats, funk grooves, and raw creative energy.

In the 90`s Marios played with the Danish funk band URD — a band known for bringing soul, rhythm, and rebellion into the Copenhagen music scene. That same energy still lives in this place today.

The music never really stopped.
It just turned into paintings instead.
And jamming sessions in the gallery.

Every brushstroke, every color explosion, every chaotic corner of the gallery still carries that same freedom, rhythm, and wild creative spirit.

From funk and hip-hop music to colorful art.
Same soul. Different medium.
