In this original oil painting, Marios Orozco portrays the distinctive waterfront of Christianshavn, where historic buildings and moored boats line the canal beneath an intensely glowing sky. A sailboat takes center stage in the composition, its reflection stretching into the water while rows of boats disappear toward the horizon.

Light is the true protagonist of the painting. Rich yellows and warm oranges sweep across both sky and water, broken by flashes of red, turquoise, green, and deep violet.
